Hooked up with a guy at the top of Lawndale and it was "game on" all the way to the bottom. Turns out the guy was Scott Nicol, founder of Ibis Cycles.
Introduced ourselves and complimented Scott on his superb descending skills. HUGE crowd from MTBR.com was re-grouping at the bottom of Lawndale.
We merged with the group and rode up Schultz and a few other trails. Took a short cut to Buick Meadow for a refueling break and up rides Scott Nicol (see movie).
Scott stopped and we proceeded to grill him about his bikes, business, Annadel, etc. for the next 20 minutes and he didn't seem annoyed at all.
Rode with Scott on North and South Burma then back down to the road. Great day, I must say!
